NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT A SPECIAL ELECTION WILL BE HELD ON TUESDAY, MAY 5, 2026. THE POLLS WILL BE OPEN FROM 7:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. AT THE FOLLOWING POLLING LOCATIONS:
WILLIAMSTOWN TOWNSHIP
Precincts 1 and 2 (consolidated) - Williamstown Township Hall, 4990 Zimmer Rd, Williamston
CITY OF WILLIAMSTON
Precinct 1 - Williamston Middle School Gymnasium, 3845 Vanneter Rd., Williamston
Absentee voting is available as in every election.
Early voting will not be available for this election.
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the qualified electors will be voting on the following:
INGHAM INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL DISTRICT:
Ingham Intermediate School District, Michigan Bond Proposal: To borrow the sum of not to exceed $99,960,000 (Ninety-Nine Million Nine Hundred Sixty Thousand Dollars) and issue its general obligation unlimited tax bonds therefor, for the purpose of erecting, finishing, and equipping a new center-based special education school building; remodeling, erecting additions to, furnishing, installing instructional technology equipment, and more.
The estimated millage that will be levied for the proposed bonds in 2026 is 9.55 mill ($0.55 on each $1,000 of taxable valuation). The maximum number of years the bonds may be outstanding, exclusive of any refunding, is twenty (20) years. The estimated simple average annual millage anticipated to be required to retire this bond debt is 0.45 mill ($0.45 on each $1,000 of taxable valuation).
