Docket No. 2025-282-C - Application of Wire 3, LLC, for a Certificate of Public Convenience and
Necessity to Provide Competing Local Exchange (Including Exchange Access) Telecommunications
Services in the State of South Carolina and for Flexible Regulation
Why is this Notice Important?
• Wire 3 LLC ("Company") filed an application with the Public Service Commission of South Carolina
("Commission") for authority to provide facilities-based and resold local exchange and exchange access
telecommunications services in the state of South Carolina and for Flexible Regulation.
What is the Company asking the Commission to approve?
Wire 3 LLC requests the Commission issue an Order:
• Granting Wire 3 LLC a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity to provide resold and
facilities-based local exchange (including exchange access) telecommunications services.
• Authorizing Wire 3 LLC to use flexible regulation procedures for local exchange
telecommunications services as outlined in Order No. 98-165 in Docket No. 97-467-C.
• Waiving the application of certain Commission regulations pursuant to S.C. Code Ann. Regs. 103-
601(3).
The case was filed according to S.C. Code Ann. Section 58-9-280 and the rules and regulations of the
Commission; and this hearing has been scheduled according to S.C. Code Ann. Section 58-9-280(B) and
S.C. Code Ann. Regs. 103-817.

the 120-day period allowed for consideration of this matter.
