NOTICE OF FILING AND PUBLIC HEARING Application of Velocity IG Operations, LLC for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity to Provide Resold and Facilities-Based Local Exchange and Interexchange (Including Exchange Access) Telecommunications Services in the State of South Carolina, and for Alternative and Flexible Regulation - Docket No. 2026-66-C Why is this Notice Important? Velocity IG Operations, LLC ("Velocity IG Operations" or "Company"), filed an Application for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity to provide facilities-based and resold local exchange and interexchange telecommunications services in South Carolina with the Public Service Commission ("Commission"). What is the Company asking the Commission to approve? The Company requests the Commission issue an Order: Granting Velocity IG Operations a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity to provide facilities-based and resold local exchange and interexchange telecommunications services throughout the State of South Carolina. Authorizing Velocity IG Operations to use procedures established for alternative regulation for interexchange telecommunications services as outlined in Order Nos. 95-1734 and 96-55 in Docket No. 95-661-C and as modified by Commission Order No. 2001-997 in Docket No. 2000-407-C. Authorizing Velocity IG Operations to use flexible regulation procedures for local exchange telecommunications service offerings as outlined in Order No. 98-165 in Docket No. 97-467-C. Waiving the application of certain Commission rules pursuant to S.C. Code Ann. Regs. 103-601(3). PLEASE BE ADVISED pursuant to S.C. Code Ann. Section 58-9-280, as amended, the Commission will invoke the 120-day period allowed for consideration of this matter. The case was filed according to S.C. Code Ann. Sections 58-9-280 and 58-9-585, and the rules and regulations of the Commission; and this hearing has been scheduled according to S.C. Code Ann. Section 58-9-280 and S.C. Code Ann. Regs. 103-817.
