NOTICE OF FILING OF APPLICATION FOR CAMA MAJOR DEVELOPMENT PERMIT The Department of Environmental Quality hereby gives public notice as required by NCGS 113A-119(b) that the following applications were submitted for a development permit in Areas of Environmental Concern as designated under the CAMA: On September 12, 2025, Zachery Fisher proposed to expand the existing docking facility from two (2) existing slips to a total of six (6) slips at 101, 103, 105 and 118 E Bay St. and Parcel 237LH048 adjacent to Davis Canal in Oak Island, Brunswick County. Copies of these applications can be examined or copied at the office of Courtney Milliron, N.C. Dept. of Environmental Quality, Division of Coastal Management, 127 Cardinal Drive Ext., Wilmington, NC 28405, (910) 796-7423 during normal business hours. Comments mailed to Tancred Miller, Director, Division of Coastal Management, 400 Commerce Avenue, Morehead City, NC 28557-3421, prior to October 9, 2025 will be considered in making the permit decision. Later comments will be accepted and considered up to the time of permit decision. Project modification may occur based on review and comment by the public and state and federal agencies.
