NOTICE OF FILING OF APPLICATION FOR CAMA MAJOR DEVELOPMENT PERMIT The Department of Environmental Quality hereby gives public notice as required by NCGS 113A-119(b) that the following applications were submitted for a development permit in Areas of Environmental Concern as designated under the CAMA: On March 13, 2026, Sea Crest Properties, LLC proposed to construct a new vinyl bulkhead a max of 3' waterward of the existing wooden bulkhead, resulting in 242 sqft Coastal Wetland fill, and the removal & construction of a new private eight (8) slip docking facility with two additional floating docks at 214 Seacrest Dr., adj. to Motts Channel, Wrightsville Beach, New Hanover County. Copies of these applications can be examined or copied at the office of Phil D'Angelis, N.C. Dept. of Environmental Quality, Division of Coastal Management, 127 Cardinal Drive Ext., Wilmington, NC 28405, (910) 796-7240 during normal business hours. Comments mailed to Tancred Miller, Director, Division of Coastal Management, 400 Commerce Avenue, Morehead City, NC 28557-3421, prior to April 10, 2026 will be considered in making the permit decision. Later comments will be accepted and considered up to the time of permit decision. Project modification may occur based on review and comment by the public and state and federal agencies.
