NOTICE OF FILING OF APPLICATION FOR CAMA MAJOR DEVELOPMENT PERMIT The Department of Environmental Quality hereby gives public notice as required by NCGS 113A-119(b) that the following applications were submitted for a development permit in Areas of Environmental Concern as designated under the CAMA: On May 6, 2026, Harry Raines proposed to expand an existing docking facility with a fixed platform and boatlift (3 slips), install a vinyl bulkhead and conduct mechanical excavation within the AIWW into the Federal Channel Setback at 3121 Waterview Dr. SW, adj. to the AIWW, Supply, Brunswick County. Copies of these applications can be examined or copied at the office of Tara MacPherson N.C. Dept. of Environmental Quality, Division of Coastal Management, 127 Cardinal Drive Ext., Wilmington, NC 28405, (910) 796-7266 during normal business hours. Comments mailed to Tancred Miller, Director, Division of Coastal Management, 400 Commerce Avenue, Morehead City, NC 28557-3421, prior to June 2, 2026 will be considered in making the permit decision. Later comments will be accepted and considered up to the time of permit decision. Project modification may occur based on review and comment by the public and state and federal agencies.
