MORTGAGE SALE
Default has occurred in a mortgage made by Steven Rish and Mary Rish, to Century Bank and Trust, a Michigan corporation, in a mortgage dated September 2, 2020, and recorded on September 4, 2020, in document number 2020-05873 in Branch County Register of Deeds. No proceedings have been instituted to recover any part of the debt, which is now $157,102.97 (One Hundred Fifty-Seven Thousand One Hundred Two Dollars and 97/100.
The mortgage will be foreclosed by a sale of the property at public auction to the highest bidder on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. local time at the ground floor of the Courthouse in Coldwater, Branch County, Michigan, and the Courthouse being the place of holding Circuit Court in Branch County. The property will be sold to pay the amount then due on the Mortgage, together with interest, legal costs, attorney fees, and also any taxes and insurance that the mortgagee pays before the sale.

Beginning at a point on the East line of Section 9, Town 6 South, Range 6 West Coldwater Township, Branch County, Michigan, distant due North 495.68 feet from the Southeast corner of said Section 9; thence North 8832'30" West 656.42 feet; thence North 0020'48" East 266.27 feet; thence South 8845'00" East 404.70 feet; thence due South parallel with said East section line, 33.52 feet; thence North 8931'52" East 250 feet to said East Section line; thence due South along said East Section line, 242.66 feet to the point of beginning.

The redemption period will be six (6) months from the date of sale, unless the premises are deemed abandoned pursuant to MCL 600.3241a, in which event the redemption period shall be 30 days. If the property is sold at a foreclosure sale pursuant to this advertisement, MCL 600.3278 provides that the borrower will be held responsible to the purchaser at the foreclosure sale for damaging the property during the redemption period.
