NOTICE OF FORFEITURE BY PUBLICATION This Notice of Forfeiture under Ohio Revised Code §5301.332 is hereby given to BELDEN & BLAKE CORPORATION (the "Lessee"), and its successors and assigns, for the oil and gas lease executed by ANDREW E. SLABACH and ADA S. SLABACH, husband and wife, dated August 8, 1980, and recorded August 28, 1980 in Lease Book 204, Page 664 in the Stark County Recorder's Office (the "Lease"). Description of the land covered by the Lease: A tract of land containing more or less 51 acres situated in Sections 5 & 6 of Osnaburg Township, Stark County, State of Ohio, comprised of Parcels No. 3704913, 3704126, 3704127 and 3704128. Cause of Forfeiture: The Lease expired due to a failure to produce oil or gas in paying quantities during the secondary term, and there is not any attempt to commence production or the drilling of oil and gas wells on the leased acreage, and as a result the Lease has expired. Intent of the Lessor: Please be advised that GECCO PROPERTIES LTD., as the current owner of the surface and mineral estate of Parcel 3704913 containing 46.451 acres, and as the Lessor of the above-referenced Lease with respect to said Parcel 3704913, intends to file for record an Affidavit of Forfeiture with the Stark County Recorder, if Lessee, its successors and/or assigns do not have the Lease released of record within thirty (30) days from the date of this publication.
