NOTICE OF HEARING
BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that Maddie & Alex Ciliotta-Young, owners of the property at 9 Cloverhill Place, Montclair, New Jersey, filed an application with the Montclair Board of Adjustment for a variance required to construct an addition to the rear of the dwelling, in alignment with the setback of the existing dwelling. The dwelling currently has a side yard setback of 3 feet, where 6 feet is required, and the proposed addition would continue that existing setback. The property is located in the R-2 Two-Family Zone District, and is designated on the Township Tax maps as Lot 5 in Block 4208. A variance is requested from Montclair Code §347-51 to permit a side yard setback of 3 feet for the dwelling, where a minimum side yard setback of 6 feet is required. The applicant also seeks any other variances that may be required.
TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that this application will be heard at a Board of Adjustment meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. The meeting will be open to the public and held in Council Chambers of the Municipal Building located at 205 Claremont Avenue, Montclair, NJ. Opportunity will be given to all those in interest to be heard and at which time the Board may approve, modify and approve, or deny the application.
