NOTICE OF HEARING FOR DAVID RODE PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that David Rode has made an application to the Town of Hackettstown Land Use Board for the property known as Block 119 Lot 11.01 located at 9 Birch Road, Hackettstown, Warren County, New Jersey and situated in the Town's "R-30" Zone District. The Applicant is seeking bulk variance relief and Section 36 variance approval to permit the construction of a 250 square foot deck on the existing dwelling. The Application requires a Section 36 variance approval because the subject property does not abut a public street. Bulk variance relief is required for the maximum lot coverage whereas 10% is permitted and 25.9% is proposed. In addition, bulk variance relief is requested for the pre-existing non-conforming conditions for the minimum lot area, lot frontage, lot width and front yard setback. The Applicant also requests such variances, waivers, permits, approvals or licenses that are deemed necessary or appropriate upon review by the applicant or the Board. This application is listed on the calendar before the Town of Hackettstown Land Use Board and an in-person public hearing has been set for December 16, 2025, at the Hackettstown Municipal Building, 215 West Stiger Street, Hackettstown, New Jersey 07840 at 7:00 P.M. When the case is called, you may appear either in person or by attorney to present any evidence or make any comments, which you may have regarding the application. The matter will be heard on the above date or any adjourned date designed by the Land Use Board at this public meeting without additional notice. The maps, plans, plats and application for which approval is being sought are on file with the Land Use Board Administrator and are available for inspection at the Municipal Building during normal business hours.
