NOTICE OF HEARING ON APPEAL OR APPLICATION
You are hereby notified that on June 17, 2026 at 7:00 pm, before the Board of Adjustment at the Municipal Building, 401 Chambers Bridge Road, Brick, NJ, a Public Hearing will be held to consider teh application of Robert Kiefer, to construct a two-story addition to the existing residence within the existing footprint, covering property located at 171 Riverside Dr. North, Brick, NJ, also known as Lot 37, Block 1323 as shown on the Tax Map for Brick Twp. and briefly described as follows: a private residential home.
Notice is hereby given that the following maps and documents will be considered at the hearing 1. "Plot Plan and Variance Plan for 171 Riverside Drive North, Block 1323, Lot 37, Township of Brick, Ocean County, New Jersey", 2. survey entitled "Boundary & Topographic Survey, Tax Lot 37, Block 1323, Township of Brick, Ocean County, New Jersey", 3. Architectural plans entitled "Kiefer Residence, Addition & Alterations". All documents are available for inspection between the hours of 9 am and 4 pm, Monday through Friday t the office of the Secretary of said Zoning Board of Adjustment Board at the Munitipal Building. At the hearing, the applicant intends to request the following variances or directions for issueance of a permit in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40:55 D-60: 1. Minimun Lot area interior lot: required 7,500 SF, existing 4,894 SF, proposed 4,894 SF (pre-existing, non-conforming); 2 minimum lot width interior lot: required 75 feet, existing 50 feet, proposed: 50 feet (pre-existing, non-conforming); 3. Minimum front yard setback: required 25 feet, existing 18.3 feet, proposed: 18.3 feet (variance); 4. Minimum side yard setback: required 6 feet; existing 1.6 feet, proposed 1.6 feet (variance); and 5. Minimum side yard seback combined: required 15 feet, existing 13.6 feet; proposed 13.6 feet (variance), as well s such other relief as the Baord may deem necessary for this application.
