NOTICE OF HEARING IN THE SECOND JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURT OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, IN AND FOR THE COUNTY OF WASHOE IN THE MATTER OF THE ESTATE OF JANA MAY MAAS, Deceased. Case No. PR25-00925 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that CARINA LEWIS and ASHLEY DULLUM, by and through their counsel, JEPSEN LAW, PLLC, have filed in this Court a Verified Petition for Probate, for the Appointment of Co-Administrators, and the Issuance of Letters of Administration, and for Summary Administration in the Estate of JANA MAY MAAS, deceased, and a hearing has been set for the 14th day of January, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. in the Probate Court, Washoe County Courthouse, Reno, Nevada, located at 75 Court Street, Reno, Nevada 89501. All persons interested in said matter are referred to the Petition for further details and are further notified to appear at the time and place and show cause, if any they have, why the Petition should not be granted. The Petition requests authority to administer the estate under the Independent Administration of Estates Act. This will avoid the need to obtain court approval for many actions taken in connection with the estate. However, before taking certain actions, the personal representative will be required to give notice to interested persons unless they have waived notice or have consented to the proposed action. Independent administration authority will be granted unless good cause is shown why it should not be. This hearing will be conducted by conference call only.
