NOTICE OF HEARING

NOTICE OF HEARING NOTICE IS GIVEN: A. The City of Waukee, 230 W Hickman Rd, Waukee, IA 50263, on March 16, 2026 at 5:30 PM local time, whereat said the City of Waukee will hold a hearing and may resolve to adopt plans, specifications, form of contract, and estimated cost of the following improvements: B. Project: Waukee City Building C. Scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Demolition of an existing city building located at 410 6th St. Waukee, IA that is approximately 1,775 square feet as well as the demolition of two outbuildings with the approximate square footage of 120 SF and 100 SF. A new community center will be built in the same location and within a similar footprint to the old building. The new community center is currently shown to be approximately 2,700 gross square feet and is one story. D. At said hearing, the City of Waukee will consider the proposed plans, specifications, form of contract and estimate of cost for said project, the same now being on file in the Waukee City Hall, 230 W Hickman Rd, Waukee, IA 50263, reference to which is made for a more detailed and complete description of the proposed improvements, and at said time and place the said Board will also receive and consider any comments/objections to said plans, specifications and form of contract or to the estimated cost of said improvements made by any interested party.
