NOTICE OF HEARING
TOWNSHIP OF RANDOLPH
ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
In compliance with the pertinent provisions of the Township of Randolph Planning and Zoning Code, and the New Jersey Municipal Land Use Act, N.J.S.A. 40:55D-1 et seq., notice is hereby given that a written application has been filed by the undersigned with the Township of Randolph Zoning Board of Adjustment seeking the following relief, all in the alternative: (1) a favorable ordinance interpretation pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-70(b) that the existing Cooperative Sober Living Residence (CSLR) constitutes a single housekeeping unit which is a single-family residential use of the property and therefore is a permitted use in the R-3 Zoning District where the property is situated; or in the alternative (2) Use Variance Relief pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-70d(1) to permit the continued occupation of the single-family home as a CSLR within the R-3 Zone; together with any and all other variances or waivers the Board may reasonably require in the exercise of its discretion and without further public notice. Applicant further seeks, in conjunction with each of the above-described alternative forms of relief, a Reasonable Accommodation in the conduct of the Board's interpretation of the zoning ordinance and/or in consideration of the alternative request for use variance relief as required under the mandates of the Federal Fair Housing Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act. This application concerns the property shown as Block 54, Lot 4 on the Township of Randolph Tax Map, which property is located at 17 Highview Terrace in the Township of Randolph, Morris County, New Jersey.
Public hearing on the above-mentioned application has been scheduled for March 12, 2026 at 7:30 p.m. located at the Randolph Township Municipal Building, 502 Millbrook Avenue, Randolph, New Jersey, 07869, at which time and place any interested party (as defined in N.J.S.A. 40:55D-4) will have an opportunity to be heard.
All documents relating to this application may be inspected by the public during regular business hours in the office of the Board Secretary of the Township of Randolph Zoning Board of Adjustment located at the Randolph Township Municipal Building, 502 Millbrook Avenue, Randolph, New Jersey, 07869. Please take further notice that the Board may, at its discretion, adjourn, postpone or continue said hearing from time to time and you are hereby notified that you should make diligent inquiry of the Board Office concerning such adjournments, postponements or continuations.
