NOTICE OF HOPEWELL CITY COUNCIL PUBLIC HEARING The Hopewell City Council will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers in the Municipal Building, 300 North Main Street, Hopewell, Virginia 23860, for the purpose of receiving comments regarding the following request: Case 2026-0048: A modification of development standards request submitted by Well of Hope Church of the Nazarene to allow a second freestanding sign at 3308 Oaklawn Blvd., also identified as Parcel #089-1462, and located in the B-4 Corridor Development District. Information regarding the above-referenced matter may be examined in person at the Department of Development, Municipal Building, 300 N. Main St., Hopewell, Virginia 23860, during normal business hours (M-F, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) or by calling (804) 541-2220 x 1.
