NOTICE OF INTENT TO FILL VACANCY BY APPOINTMENT To the Electors of the City of Kelley, Iowa: You are hereby notified that the City Council of the City of Kelley, Iowa, has received and accepted the resignation of Kelly Netcott as Council Member of the City of Kelley, Iowa, effective December 9, 2025. You are hereby notified that pursuant to Section 372.13 (2) of the Code of Iowa, the Council has elected to fill the council vacancy by appointment. However, the electors of the City have the right to file a petition in accordance with Iowa Code Section 372.13 (2)(a) within fourteen days after publication of this notice or within fourteen days after appointment is made by the City Council, whichever is later. The Council intends to make this appointment at their special meeting, which will begin at 7:00 p.m. on January 27, 2026, in the Council Chamber, Kelley City Hall, 1111 Grace Street, Kelley, Iowa.
