NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CIRCULATE RECALL PETITION TO THE HONORABLE Yadira Perez: Pursuant to Section 11020, California Elections Code, the undersigned registered qualified voters of Coachella, in the State of California, hereby give notice that we are the proponents of a recall petition and that we intend to seek your recall and removal from the office of Member, Coachella City Council. The grounds for the recall are as follows: Council Member Yadira Perez has failed to make responsible decisions in matters affecting the City of Coachella. During her time in office, the City has faced ongoing fiscal challenges and budget deficits, raising concerns about the management of public resources and taxpayer funds. Council Member Perez participated in and supported actions regarding the municipal utility and data center project that were later reversed or withdrawn, exposing the City to potential legal claims and substantial financial liability. These decisions have created uncertainty and placed taxpayers at risk of significant costs. Additionally, Council Member Perez has failed to adequately address the needs of Coachella's senior community and has not demonstrated the leadership necessary to advance the City's long-term stability, accountability, and responsible growth. For these reasons, we seek the recall of Council Member Yadira Perez.
