NOTICE OF MEETING OF THE BOONE CITY COUNCIL, IOWA, CONCERNING THE SALE OF REAL ESTATE OWNED BY THE CITY OF BOONE PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Boone City Council will hold a public hearing on September 15, 2025 at 6:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 923-8th St., Boone, Iowa, at which hearing the Council proposes to approve the sale of certain real estate described as follows: Description: The West 20 Feet Abutting 926 8th Street from the South Line of 8th Street to the South Line of Parcel 088426281282221, Boone, IA. An offer(s) has been submitted to the City. Acceptance is conditioned on holding a hearing as required by §364.7, Code of Iowa. The City Council will discuss the offer(s) and will approve or reject the offer by resolution of the council. Anyone wishing to object to the approval of the sale of the described real estate should submit their objection in writing by 5:00 p.m. on the date of the hearing at the City Clerk's office or submit their objection orally at the hearing.
