NOTICE OF OPPORTUNITY FOR PUBLIC COMMENT ON ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING STATIONS IN COLUMBIA, BOONE COUNTY Notice is hereby given to all interested persons that the City of Columbia is planning to install electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at four locations across the city of Columbia, Missouri. These charging stations are proposed to be located at the Short Street Parking Garage, the 5th and Walnut Parking Garage, the Columbia Public Library's parking lot located on the north side of Broadway, and the Columbia Regional Airport parking lot. These charging stations will be for the use of the general public and to support the City of Columbia's fleet electrification. All EV charging station installation under this project will be installed within existing parking lot facilities or existing parking garage structures. Only minimal ground disturbance is anticipated and no impacts to natural communities or historic resources are expected. Construction of the charging stations could begin as early as fall 2026 and be completed by spring 2027.
