NOTICE OF OPPORTUNITY TO REVIEW FOND DU LAC METROPOLITAN PLANNING ORGANIZATION METROPOLITAN TRANSPORTATION PLAN UPDATE

NOTICE OF OPPORTUNITY TO REVIEW FOND DU LAC METROPOLITAN PLANNING ORGANIZATION METROPOLITAN TRANSPORTATION PLAN UPDATE East Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission, which serves as staff for the Fond du Lac Metropolitan Planning Organization, has prepared a Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) titled Focus 2055 for the Fond du Lac urbanized area. The MTP has been developed in consultation with federal, state and local agencies and has included public engagement and involvement in the transportation and land use planning process. The MTP is updated every 5 years, for a 20+ year time horizon. The 2025 update is in accordance with the requirements of Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act legislation for long-range transportation and land use planning in metropolitan areas. The Metropolitan Transportation Plan for the Fond du Lac urbanized area can be viewed in person at the ECWRPC Office, 400 Ahnaip St, Suite 100, Menasha, WI 54952 or on the ECWRPC website at: https://www.ecwrpc.org/public-review/ A 30-day public review and comment period for the MTP will commence on Sunday, August 31, and end on Tuesday, September 30, 2025.
