NOTICE OF ORDER TO DEMOLISH & HEARING The City of Indianapolis, Dept. of Business & Neighborhood Services, has issued an order under Indiana's Unsafe Building Law (Ind. Code 36-7-9) requiring demolition of the structures listed herein. If the order is not complied with by the hearing date, the hearing authority may affirm, modify, or rescind the order. If the hearing authority affirms the order, the City may take action to accomplish the demolition. If the City takes action to demolish the structure, each person who held a fee interest, life estate interest, or equitable interest of a contract purchaser in the unsafe premises from the time when the order requiring the work performed was issued to the time that the work was completed, or, if emergency action was taken under IC 36-7-9-12, during the time of such emergency action, is jointly and severally responsible for the costs incurred by the City.
