NOTICE OF PROOF OF WILL WITHOUT ADMINISTRATION, NOTICE OF TRUST, AND NOTICE TO CREDITORS, HEIRS, SPOUSE AND BENEFICIARIES IN THE MATTER OF WILLIAM AND BARBARA MENGELING REVOCABLE TRUST, DATED JANUARY 25, 2000 To all persons regarding William L. Mengeling, deceased, who died on or about May 2, 2025: You are hereby notified that on December 2, 2025, the Last Will and Testament of William L. Mengeling, deceased, bearing the date of January 25, 2000, was admitted to probate in the District Court of Johnson County, Iowa (ESPR 037003), and there will be no present administration of the estate. Any action to set aside the Will must be brought in the District Court of the above county within the later to occur of four months from the date of the second publication of this Notice or one month from the date of mailing of this Notice to the surviving spouse and all heirs of the decedent and devisees under the Will whose identities are reasonably ascertainable, or thereafter be forever barred. You are further notified that Michelle A. Mengeling and Michael W. Mengeling are the trustees of the William and Barbara Mengeling Revocable Trust, dated January 25, 2000. Any action to contest the validity of the trust must be brought in the District Court of Johnson County, Iowa, within the later to occur of four months from the date of second publication of this notice or thirty (30) days from the date of mailing this notice to all heirs of the decedent, spouse of the decedent and beneficiaries under the trust whose identifies are reasonably ascertainable, or thereafter be forever barred. You are further notified that such Will designates the William and Barbara Mengeling Revocable Trust, dated January 25, 2000 as the residual beneficiary of the estate, that all persons indebted to the Decedent, the estate of the Decedent, or the Trust are requested to make immediate payment to the undersigned trustee, and that any person or entity possessing a claim against the Decedent, the estate of the Decedent, or the Trust must mail proof of the claim to the trustee at the address listed below by certified mail, return receipt requested, by the later to occur of four months from the date of the second publication of this notice or thirty days from the date of mailing this notice if required, or the claim shall be forever barred, unless paid or otherwise satisfied.
