NOTICE OF PROPOSED CHANGES TO THE RULES OF THE SPRINGFIELD CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION Notice is hereby given that the Springfield Civil Service Commission proposes amendments to the following sections of its Rules: Section 4.2 – Nature of Examinations, Section 5.11 – Effect of Declines on List Placement. Members of the public are invited to submit written comments regarding the proposed rule changes. Written comments may be submitted on or before February 4, 2026, to the Springfield Civil Service Commission at: Springfield Civil Service Commission 300 South Seventh Street, Room 309, Springfield, Illinois 62701. Members of the public may also submit written comments by email on or before February 4, 2026, to the following email address HumanResources@springfield.il.us. In addition, members of the public may attend the next regularly scheduled meeting of the Springfield Civil Service Commission, at which a public hearing will be held.
