NOTICE OF PUBLIC BIDS FOR EQUIPMENT
The Town of Albany, Indiana (Owner) on behalf of the Albany-Delaware Township Volunteer Fire Department is seeking bids for the following equipment:
20 Complete Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) including 2 cylinders and a Facepiece and the following specifications:
1. Quick connect cylinder connection.
2. Chest strap
3. Voice amplifier
Plus 10 ADDITIONAL FACE PIECES
Additionally, vendors shall meet the following requirements:
Bids shall include freight delivery with lift gate serviceBids shall include all required fit testingBids shall include training for the fire department included in the purchase at an agreed time and schedule. Vendor must outline a guaranteed delivery time frame.Vendors must provide detailed warranty information

Normal work hours for the office are 8.30 am until 4.30 pm Monday through Friday. Requests for bid packets can be made from the Clerk Treasurer's office or via email townofalbany@albanyin.com
Bids will be accepted by the Town of Albany, IN until 4:00 pm on November 17, 2025.
The bid for the sale of the above-stated equipment is to be submitted shall include sufficient and proper sums for all the purchase of all equipment specified above permits, licenses, insurance, and so forth incidental to and required for the purchase of the equipment. Each bid must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of Bidder. All bids must be submitted on the bid forms that are clear and understandable as to the sale, without restriction to the Town of Albany and in conformity with the specifications.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any bid, or all bids, or to accept any bid or bids, or to make such combination of bids as may seem desirable, and to waive all informalities in bidding. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of bids or authorized postponement thereof. Any bid received after the time and date specified shall not be considered. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for at least ninety (90) days. A conditional or qualified Bid will not be accepted.
Award will be made to the low, responsive, responsible bidder. The low, responsive, responsible bidder must not be debarred, suspended, or otherwise be excluded from or ineligible for participation in federally assisted programs under Executive Order 12549. All applicable laws, ordinances, and the rules and regulations of all authorities having jurisdiction over the sale and purchase of the equipment shall apply throughout.
