NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND NOTICE OF PROPOSED VACATION OF CITY STREET
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN The City Council of the City of Stockton will consider vacating (abandoning) a portion of East Fifth Street, from Sikh Temple Street in the west approximately 191 feet east toward South Aurora Street. A detailed map and description of the proposed area to be vacated is available for inspection at the office of the City Clerk, 501 W. Weber Avenue, Building 1, 1st Floor, Stockton, CA 95203, during City business hours. The proposed vacation is being conducted pursuant to Chapter 3, Part 3, Division 9 of the California Streets and Highway Code. A Public Hearing will be conducted regarding this proposed vacation at a meeting of the City Council, to be held on July 21, 2026 at 1:00 PM in the City Council Chambers located at 501 W. Weber Avenue, Building 1, 1st Floor, Stockton, CA 95203. All proceedings before this meeting body are conducted in English.
