NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD City of Peoria, Illinois 2026 Annual Action Plan NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Peoria will hold a public comment period from Thursday, February 19 at 8:00 a.m. to Monday, March 23 at 5:00 p.m. The purpose of this comment period is to obtain views and opinions from the public on the proposed 2026 Annual Action Plan. The 2026 Annual Action plan outlines the intended uses of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnership Program, and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) funds. The City has created the proposed plan based on an estimated 2026 allocation for each grant. Proposed funding for activities may be increased or reduced based on actual 2026 grant allocations. The Annual Action Plan outlines these potential changes for each specific project. The plan will be available on the City of Peoria website at https://www.peoriagov.org/212/Plans-and-Reports. A hard copy may also be viewed at City Hall, 419 Fulton Street in the Development Center, Room 203, weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. In addition, two public hearings will be held to obtain input from the public. The first hearing will be on Thursday, March 5 at 5:30 pm at the Lincoln Branch of the Peoria Public Library located at 1312 W Lincoln, Peoria, Illinois. The second public hearing will take place on Friday, March 6 at 8:30 am at City Hall, 419 Fulton Street in Room 404.
