NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING: ANNEXATION WITHDRAWALS
NOTICE IS GIVEN that on January 20, 2026, at 5:30 p.m., the City Council will hold a public hearing to hear testimony about an ordinance withdrawing the recently annexed properties listed below from the following public service districts: Junction City Water Control District; Lane Fire Authority; River Road Park & Recreation District; River Road Water and Fire Protection District; Santa Clara Rural Fire Protection District; Santa Clara Water District; Willakenzie Rural Fire Protection District; and Zumwalt Rural Fire Protection District.
This public hearing will be held in-person at 500 East 4th Avenue, Eugene, Oregon, and remotely using virtual meeting technology. Information about online or other options for participation will be available on January 20, 2026, at https://www.eugene-or.gov/3360/Webcasts-and-Meeting-Materials. Written testimony may be sent to GWarr@eugene-or.gov or to Gareth Warr at 99 West 10th Avenue Suite 290, Eugene, OR 97401.
The proposed Ordinance, which includes maps and legal descriptions of the properties, is available for review on the City of Eugene web site at https://www.eugene-or.gov/1781/Proposed-Ordinances. Materials may also be viewed at the City's Permit and Information Center which is open from 12pm-4pm M-F. Copies may be obtained at a reasonable cost.
