NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, PROPOSED FORM OF CONTRACT, AND ESTIMATE OF COST FOR CONSTRUCTION OF 1414 WALNUT STREET (DALLAS CENTER CITY HALL) CONSTRUCTION PROJECT, CITY OF DALLAS CENTER, IOWA
At 7:00 p.m. on June 23, 2026, the City Council of the City of Dallas Center, Iowa, will hold a public hearing in the Council Chambers at Memorial Hall (above City Hall at 1502 Walnut Street) in Dallas Center, Iowa, to consider adopting the plans and specifications, proposed form of contract, and estimate of cost for the 1414 Walnut Street (Dallas Center City Hall) construction project.
The description of the project is as follows:
1414 WALNUT STREET, DALLAS CENTER CITY HALL CONSTRUCTION - Base bid: Remodel a portion of the existing building at 1414 Walnut Street, Dallas Center, Iowa, for use as the new City Hall. Work includes remodeling existing restrooms; new floor and wall finishes; millwork; minor construction; and exterior repairs. The project bid package also includes several add alternates.
At the hearing, the City Council will consider the plans and specifications, proposed form of contract, and total estimated project cost, which are on file in the City Clerk's office. The Council will also receive and consider any objections from interested parties regarding the plans, specifications, estimated cost, or proposed contract.
This notice is given by order of the Council of the City of Dallas Center, Iowa.
