NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BOONE WATER TREATMENT PLANT GROUND STORAGE RESERVOIR REHABILITATION PROJECT NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, AND ESTIMATE OF COST FOR WATER TREATMENT PLANT GROUND STORAGE RESERVOIR REHABILITATION PROJECT FOR THE CITY OF BOONE, Iowa. Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Boone, Iowa, will hold a public hearing on the proposed Drawings, Specifications, form of Contract, and Estimate of Cost of Work for the construction of the Water Treatment Plant Ground Storage Reservoir Rehabilitation Project at 6:00 p.m., local time, on November 3, 2025, in the Boone City Hall, 923 - 8th Street, Boone, IA 50036. Any interested party may appear to be heard. At the hearing, the City Council will receive and consider any objections made by any interested person, to the Drawings and Specifications, proposed form of Contract and the Estimate of Cost for the Work. The extent of work on this project is the furnishing of all labor, equipment, and materials for the construction of improvements in Boone, Iowa generally described as follows: Location of Work: 1174 188th Road, Boone, IA 50036 Description of Work: This project includes work on the existing ground storage reservoir at the water treatment facility high service pump site. Structural rehabilitation of the existing City of Boone Water Treatment Plant 2 MG ground storage reservoir adjacent to the high service pump building. Project also includes site grading, retaining wall construction, erosion control, and site restoration. This notice is given by authority of the City of Boone, Iowa.
