NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BY THE TOWN BOARD OF THE TOWN OF MOUNT PLEASANT TO CONSIDER A PROPOSED LOCAL LAW AMENDING ZONING CODE DEFINITIONS UNDER TOWN CODE § 218-3, ENACTING TOWN CODE § 218-20.7 AFFIRMATIVELY PROHIBITING ROOMERS OR BOARDERS IN THE TOWN, AS WELL AS REMOVING A REFERENCE TO ROOMERS OR BOARDERS IN TOWN CODE CHAPTER 218 ATTACHMENT 1 PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a public hearing will be held before the Town Board of the Town of Mount Pleasant, Town Hall, One Town Hall Plaza, Valhalla, New York 10595 on the 14th day of October 2025 at 7:00 p.m., for the purpose of considering a proposed Local Law amending the definition of Family and adding a definition for Roomers or Boarders to Town Code § 218-3, creating Town Code § 218-20.7 affirmatively prohibiting Roomers or Boarders in the Town and removing a reference to Roomers or Boarders in Town Code 218 Attachment 1. PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, a copy of the proposed Local Law is available for review in the Town Clerk's Office.
