NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CITY OF FREEPORT PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF FREEPORT, ILLINOIS On April 9, 2026, at 5:30pm, a public hearing will be held by the Planning Commission of the City of Freeport, Illinois in Council Chambers on the First Floor of City Hall, 314 West Stephenson Street, Freeport, Illinois, for the purpose of considering and hearing testimony as to the Annexation of Property to the City of Freeport. The Property to be annexed consists of approximately 7.1 acres of land on Fairgrounds Road, Stephenson County, Illinois. The Property is known as P.I.N. 03-18-12-151-003 and P.I.N. 03-18-12-151-004. All interested parties are invited to attend the public hearing and will be given an opportunity to be heard. A copy of the proposed Annexation Ordinance along with the full legal description of the parcels to be annexed is on file at City Hall and available for inspection at any time prior to the hearing.
