NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF STOCKTON 2026-2027 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN
Notice is hereby given that a public hearing to consider the City of Stockton's Draft Fiscal Year 2026-2027 Annual Action Plan will be held by the City Council of the City of Stockton on April 28, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 425 N. El Dorado Street, Stockton, CA. A Public Hearing is also scheduled for March 27, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. as part of the Community Development Committee Meeting at the City Hall Council Chambers: 425 N. El Dorado Street, Stockton, CA.
The City of Stockton is an entitlement grantee under the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Office of Community Planning and Development (CPD) which allocates the following program funds to the City of Stockton through a formula-based allocation: Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME), and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG). The Draft Annual Action Plan identifies the projects and activities that will be funded during the year to help accomplish the goals of the 2025-2029 Consolidated Plan.
The purpose of the public hearings are to allow the community an opportunity to comment on the Annual Action Plan and the proposed activities. Following the Public Hearing on April 28, 2026, the Council will take final action by adopting the Annual Action Pla as presented or modify them as the Council deems appropriate.
PUBLIC COMMENTS: In compliance with the City's Community Participation plan, a 30-day comment period on the Annual Action Plan will begin on March 26, 2026 and conclude on April 28, 2026, during the Public Hearing portion of the Council meeting. Public comment can be made in writing either via email or by mail and must be received by April 28, 2026 during the Public Hearing Portion of the meeting. Comments should be sent to the City of Stockton, Economic Development Department, 501 West Weber Avenue, Building 2, 4th Floor, Stockton, CA 95203 or by email to Economic.Development@stocktonca.gov. Alternatively, comments can be provided during the Public Hearing.
Copies of the draft plan will be available to the public on or after March 26, 2026, on-line at www.stocktonca.gov/housing or in person at Economic Development Department, 501 West Weber Avenue, Building 2, 4th Floor, Stockton CA, 95203.
In addition to the Public Hearing held at the City Council meeting on April 28th, the draft Annual Action Plan will also be presented to the community at a Public Hearing as follows:
March 27, 2026 at 3:00 pm: Community Development Committee Meeting at the City Hall Council Chambers: 425 N. El Dorado St, Stockton, CA.
Interested persons will be given the opportunity to provide oral and/or written comments during either of the Public Hearings held on March 27, 2026 and April 28, 2026, respectively.
