NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF TULARE HOUSING ELEMENT AND GENERAL PLAN
ANNUAL PROGRESS REPORT FOR 2025 CALENDAR YEAR
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to Government Code Section 65400, the Annual Progress Report (APR) for the City of Tulare Housing Element and General Plan will be presented to the City Council of the City of Tulare, State of California. The APR is due to the California Department of Housing and Community Development and the State Office of Planning and Research (OPR) by April 1 of each year. The APR provides a status and progress update on implementation programs for the City's Housing Element and entire General Plan for the 2025 calendar year.
The APRs for the City's Housing Element and General Plan are exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act, pursuant to CEQA Section 15378(b)(5).
The Tulare City Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, beginning at 5:30 p.m., in the Council Chambers, 491 North "M" Street, Tulare, California. If you challenge the proposed annual progress reports in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City of Tulare at or prior to, the public hearing.
