NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING City of the Village of Douglas Zoning Board of Appeals The Zoning Board of Appeals of the City of the Village of Douglas will hold a Public Hearing on March 24, 2026, at 7:00 pm, to consider the following application submitted by Consumers Credit Union: A variance request for relief of Section 22.05(9)(b) to allow an electronic or digital reader board as part of a wall or freestanding sign, for the property located at 312 S Ferry St, Douglas, Michigan 49406 (Parcel No. 59-016-069-00). Section 22.05(9)(b) permits manual reader boards but prohibits electronic or digital reader boards in all districts, except for essential services and public entities. This application is available at the City of the Village of Douglas offices for public examination and review during normal business hours. Interested persons may submit comments in writing before the public hearing or appear in person at the public hearing to become part of the hearing record.
