NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT REVENUE BONDS

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT REVENUE BONDS Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the City Council of the City of Gahanna, Ohio on December 15, 2025, starting at 7:00 p.m. at the Gahanna City Hall at 200 South Hamilton Road, Gahanna, Ohio 43230. This hearing is for the purpose of considering the approval of the issuance of not to exceed $15,000,000 Economic Development Improvement and Refunding Revenue Bonds, Series 2025 (The Columbus Academy Project) (the "Bonds") of the City of Gahanna, Ohio, pursuant to Chapter 165 of the Ohio Revised Code and Article VIII, Section 13 of the Ohio Constitution. If the issuance of the Bonds is authorized, the proceeds will be used by The Columbus Academy, an Ohio nonprofit corporation (the "Borrower"), to (i) finance the costs associated with certain capital expenditures for a maintenance building at the campus of the Borrower located at 4300 Cherry Bottom Road, Gahanna, Ohio (the "Project"), (ii) refund and retire the outstanding $10,700,000 City of Gahanna, Ohio Economic Development Revenue Bonds, Series 2019A (The Columbus Academy Project) and $8,300,000 City of Gahana, Ohio Economic Development Refunding Revenue Bonds, Series 2019B (The Columbus Academy Project) issued to finance and refinance the costs associated with certain capital expenditures of the Borrower, including, but not limited to additions to and renovations of certain school and school athletic buildings of the Borrower, and all necessary appurtenances thereto, located in and on the real property of the Borrower located at 4300 Cherry Bottom Road, Gahanna, Ohio (the "Prior Project") and (iii) pay certain costs of issuance of those Bonds. THE BONDS SHALL NOT REPRESENT OR CONSTITUTE A DEBT OR PLEDGE OF THE FAITH AND CREDIT OR THE TAXING POWER OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, OHIO, THE STATE OF OHIO, OR ANY POLITICAL SUBDIVISION OF THE STATE OF OHIO. The initial owner and principal user of the Project and Prior Project is presently anticipated to be the Borrower, The Columbus Academy. Interested persons are invited to attend this public hearing and will be given an opportunity to express their view concerning the proposed issuance of the Bonds. Written comments may also be given by submitting them at least 24 hours prior to the public hearing to the City of Gahanna, Ohio, Office of the Clerk of Council, 200 South Hamilton Road, Gahanna, Ohio 43230, and clearly marked "RE: $15,000,000 City of Gahanna, Ohio Economic Development Improvement and Refunding Revenue Bonds, Series 2025 (The Columbus Academy Project)."
