NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING - Earlville Fire Protection Contract 2026 BUDGET YEAR
Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Hamilton Town Board, Madison County, NY, at 7 pm on November 3, 2025 at the Town Hall, 38 Milford Street, Hamilton the purpose of considering contracting with the Village of Earlville, New York for fire protection to be furnished by said Village to the fire protection district established in said town and known as "Town of Hamilton Village of Earlville Fire Protection District" upon the following general terms, to wit:
A. The fire department of said Village shall answer and attend upon all calls in said district;
B. For such service said Village shall receive the annual sum of $30,657;
C. The contract shall continue for One (1) year;
D. Such other incidental terms as may be necessary or proper in connection with such contracting.
At such a hearing any person may be heard, or comments may be submitted in writing via mail to 38 Milford Street, Hamilton NY 13346 or by email to townclerk@townofhamiltonny.gov; comments due by 11/3.
