NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
HANOVER TOWNSHIP
BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on March 19, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. in Main Meeting Room of the Municipal Building located at 1000 Route 10, Whippany, New Jersey 07981 the Hanover Township Board of Ajustment, ("the Board") will hold a live, in-person, Public Hearing on the application filed by Ship It Holdings LLC, ("the Applicant") seeking Preliminary and Final Site Plan approval with "D" and "C"/Bulk variances for the expansion of an existing primary building (completed), pavement expansion (completed), hairpin parking stall striping and outdoor storage for parking of vehicles within the proposed parking stalls.
The property to be considered by the Board is identified on the Official Tax Map for the Township of Hanover as Block 3901, Lot 20, bearing the addresses of 11 South Jefferson Road in the Township of Hanover, which is located within the B-10 Zone (Highway Business District).
The Applicant is requesting the following relief and/or variances:
1. D(2) variance for the expansion of preexisting nonconforming use for the addition to the garage. (166-183.5G, 166-151E)
2. D(4) variance for a Floor Area Ratio of 868.6%, Code permits 30%. (166-183.6D)
3. Bulk Variance for maximum building coverage of 715.9%, Code requires 20%. (166-183.6E)
4. Bulk Variance for minimum side yard setback of 0.1 feet, Code requires 20 feet. (166-183.6G)
5. Bulk Variance for minimum side yard parking setback of 0.1 feet; Code requires 5 feet (166-153K(2))
6. Bulk Variance for minimum side yard parking setbacks of 0.0 feet and 0.8 feet, Code requires 5 feet. (166-153K(3))
The Applicant also requests waivers from checklist items, if any, that have not been supplied and further relief, if necessary, from any and all variances, approvals, waivers and/or exemptions from any applicable provision of the Municipal Code of the Township of Hanover necessary for approval of the application.
Any interested party may appear at said hearing and participate therefore in accordance with the rules of the Hanover Township Planning Board and/or the provisions of the New Jersey Municipal Land Use Law, N.J.S.A 40:55D-70, et seq. Continuation of said hearing, if necessary, will be scheduled at that time. If not continued, a vote may be taken at said meeting.

This Notice is being published by the Applicant as required by the New Jersey Municipal Land Use Law (N.J.S.A. 40: 550-10 and 12, et seq.). When this matter is called, you may appear either in person, by agent, or attorney and present any objection you may have to the granting of this Application.
