NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON AMENDMENTS TO ZONING ORDINANCE AND ZONING MAP

You are hereby notified that a public hearing will be held of the Village of Hanna City Planning Commission/Zoning Board of Appeals at 6:00 p.m. on June 1, 2026, at the Hanna City Village Hall, 313 N. First Street, Hanna City, Illinois 61536. The purpose of the public hearing is for the Village of Hanna City Planning Commission/ZBA to consider provisions in a proposed pre-annexation agreement with owners seeking to pre-annex their property described in Exhibit A to be zoned and classified as A-Agricultural District; to consider a proposed amended zoning ordinance for the Village's code book, to consider proposed amendments to the zoning map of Hanna City consolidating zoning districts so there is one Business District, one Residential District, one Industrial District, and one Agricultural District, and the proposed redistricting of some Business Districts to Industrial Districts and some Agricultural Districts to Business Districts.
You are hereby notified that on June 8, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., a public hearing will be held by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Hanna City in the Hanna City Village Hall, 313 N. First Street, Hanna City, Illinois, 61536, for the purpose of considering and hearing testimony as to an ordinance authorizing the execution of a pre-annexation agreement in regard to the pre-annexation into the Village of Hanna City of a tract of property comprising approximately 81.00 acres of land and legally described in Exhibit A.

An accurate map of the subject property proposed to be pre-annexed to the Village, and the form of the proposed pre-annexation agreement will be on file with the Village Clerk.
A copy of the new zoning ordinance and an accurate map of the amendments to the zoning map consisting of consolidation and redistricting will be on file with the Village Clerk after June 8, 2026.
You are further notified that the proposed pre-annexation agreement may be changed, altered, modified, amended, or redrafted in its entirety after the public hearing.
All interested parties are invited to attend the public hearings and will be given an opportunity to be heard.
