NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED 2026-2027 BUDGET Please take notice that on Monday, June 22, 2026, at 5:15 p.m. in the M.S. Library of the Morenci Area School District, the Board of Education will hold a public hearing to consider the district's proposed 2026-2027 budget. The Board may not adopt its proposed 2026-2027 budget until after the public hearing. Therefore, the Board will be holding a regular Meeting immediately following the budget hearing on June 22, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. The purpose of this meeting will be the adoption of the 2026-2027 budget. A copy of the proposed 2026-2027 budget, including the proposed property tax millage rate, is available for public inspection during normal business hours at 788 East Coomer Street, Morenci, Michigan. The property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget will be a subject of this hearing. * This notice is given by order of the Board of Education.
