NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO WATERWORKS UTILITY RATES AND CHARGES FOR THE TOWN OF PLAINFIELD, INDIANA WATERWORKS UTILITY

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO WATERWORKS UTILITY RATES AND CHARGES FOR THE TOWN OF PLAINFIELD, INDIANA WATERWORKS UTILITY Property owners, ratepayers, and other interested parties in or served or to be served by the waterworks system of the Utility Service Board of the Town of Plainfield, Indiana ("Town") are hereby notified that at its October 27, 2025 meeting, the Town Council introduced proposed Ordinance No. 38-2025, AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE SCHEDULE OF RATES AND CHARGES SET FORTH IN ORDINANCE 23-2009, COLLECTED BY THE TOWN OF PLAINFIELD, INDIANA, FROM OWNERS OR PROPERTY SERVED BY THE WATERWORKS UTILITY OF SAID TOWN (the "Ordinance"), which would establish new user rates and charges rendered by the Town's waterworks utility. The Town Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, November 10, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. local time at the Plainfield Civic Center, 206 W. Main Street, Plainfield, Indiana. The purpose of the hearing is to receive public input on the proposed Ordinance and to consider its adoption. A schedule of the current and proposed rates and charges is attached and incorporated herein by reference. At such public hearing and prior to final adoption of said Ordinance, all interested parties may appear and be heard. A copy of Ordinance No. 38-2025 may be examined at the office of the Clerk at the Plainfield Town Hall, 206 W. Main Street, Plainfield, Indiana. Dated this 28th day of October, 2025.
