NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN That a public hearing will be held before the Board of Supervisors of Ontario County at the Supervisors' Chambers, 74 Ontario Street, Canandaigua, New York, on the 13th day of November 2025, at 6:30 p.m. concerning the Proposed Capital Improvement Plan, at which time any person may be heard; and WHEREAS, The Ontario County Board of Supervisors, pursuant to Resolution No. 201-99, established the process for adopting a six-year, long-range Capital Improvement Plan, and pursuant to said resolution, the County Administrator filed with the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors the 2026 – 2031 proposed long-range Capital Improvement Plan. Such proposed Plan is now referred to the Board of Supervisors for a public hearing and adoption in compliance with Resolution No. 201-99; and WHEREAS, The Proposed Capital Improvement Plan includes projects in the following categories: The proposed cost of the projects scheduled to be undertaken in the first year of the CIP is noted by category; revenue for these projects comes from federal and state aid, grants, county sources, and user fees: Public Safety ($3,689,382); Public Works ($75,257,390); Ways & Means ($81,000); All of the projects and costs are subject to change at adoption of the final Capital Improvement Plan by the Board of Supervisors. WHEREAS, Copies of the proposed long-range Capital Improvement Plan are available for review at the Office of the Clerk of Board of Supervisors, Municipal Building, 20 Ontario Street, Canandaigua, New York, during regular business hours.
