NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED LOCAL LAW OF ONTARIO COUNTY NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Board of Supervisors of Ontario County at 74 Ontario Street, Canandaigua, New York on August 20, 2026, at 6:30 P.M. concerning proposed Local Law No. 5 (Intro.) of 2026, entitled "A Local Law to Extend the Expanded Use of Videoconferencing Pursuant to the NYS Open Meetings Law as Originally Adopted in Local Law 4 of 2022 and Amended by Local Law 6 of 2024"; which provides: The Board of Supervisors extend the allowance for the expansion of the use of videoconferencing, under extraordinary circumstances, to conduct open meetings, as originally adopted in Local Law 4 of 2022 and amended by Local Law 6 of 2024. This extension shall run to July 15, 2028 as allowed by Chapter 58 of the Laws of 2026. At such time and place all persons interested in the subject matter thereof will be heard concerning the same.
