NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, AND ESTIMATE OF COST FOR THE 2026 CLIVE SOIL QUALITY RESTORATION COST-SHARE PROGRAM CITY OF CLIVE, IA Notice is Hereby Given: That at 6:00 pm, at the City Hall, 1900 NW 114th St., Clive, IA 50325, on July 23, 2026, the City Council of the City of Clive, IA (The "City") will hold a public hearing on the proposed plans and specifications, form of contract, and estimate of cost (the "Contract Documents") for the 2026 Clive Soil Quality Restoration Cost-Share Program (the "Project"). The Project shall consist of: Execute soil quality restoration—including aerating, applying compost, and all other requirements in the Project plans and specifications—on approximately 997,000 square feet of existing turf grass spread across 80 private residential yards in the City of Clive. The work must be started and substantially completed in September, October, and the first half of November 2026, weather permitting. Since the Project involves extensive engagement with Clive residents, exceptional customer service must be provided at every step in the Project. A copy of the proposed Contract Documents is on file for public inspection in the office of the City Clerk. The City Clerk will receive, open, and announce the results of all bids for the performance of the Project on July 14, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., at Clive City Hall, Clive, Iowa.
