NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON REQUEST FOR ANNEXATION
The public will take notice that the City Council of the City of Mount Holly has called at public hearing at 7:00 PM on Monday, March 9, 2026, at the Mount Holly Municipal Complex located at 400 E. Central Ave., Mount Holly, NC 28120 on the question of annexing the following described territory, requested by petitions filed by Alissa Gail Grice and SJS of NC LLC pursuant to G.S. 160A-31: A portion of Gaston County tax PID 218371 (the portion not currently within the city limits), 177846, 177844, 177594 and 177847 (the portion not currently within the city limits), being a portion of Deed Book 5065, Page 2137, and a portion of Deed Book 5586, Page 1300, Gaston County Public Registry, bounded by the portion of the above referenced tax parcels currently within the city limits which are adjacent to North Main Street (NC Highway 273) and also bounded by the properties of Joel & Rebecca Butter; Mountain Island Village Homeowners Association Inc.; New Vision Trust Custodian FBO, Alice Parrish; Autumn Woods HOA, Inc., Lots 254-258 of the Autumn Woods Phase 3 Subdivision recorded in Map Book 67, Page 89; Autumn Woods Phase 2 Subdivision recorded in Map Book 65, Page 8; Lots 262-272 of the Autumn Woods Phase 3 Subdivision recorded in Map Book 70, Page 121; Jessie Bowers heirs; Audris Asmond; Morningside II Auto Repair LLC; LB & Linda Hamilton; Arturo Sanchez et al; James & Margaret Starr; Reg Robinson Real Estate, Inc.; WCS, LLC; Mount Holly-Huntersville Development of Mecklenburg County, LLC; Gary & Stephanie Brice; Jocelyn Brice; and Ericson Brice et al, the property proposed for annexation being approximately 33.2105 acres and a complete metes and bounds description being on file with the City Clerk.
