NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED ADOPTION OF A CHEMUNG COUNTY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN NOTICE is hereby given that the County Legislature of the County of Chemung, State of New York, will hold a public hearing in the chambers of the Chemung County Legislature, 203 Lake Street, Elmira, New York 14901 on the 6th day of July, 2026 at 6:55 p.m. to consider the opinions, comments, and concerns of all parties concerning the proposed adoption of a Chemung County Comprehensive Plan pursuant to General Municipal Law §239-D. A copy of the proposed Chemung County Comprehensive Plan is available for public review in the office of the Clerk of the Chemung County Legislature, 203 Lake Street, Hazlett Building - 5th Floor, Elmira, NY 14901 during business hours.
