NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PURSUANT TO NORTH CAROLINA GENERAL STATUTE 158-7.1 The McAdenville Town Council intends, subject to public comment at the public hearing for which notice is hereby given, pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 158-7.1; to consider a Level One economic development incentive for Project Helms Deep. Project Helms Deep has existing manufacturing operations in Gaston County. Based on information provided by the company, Project Helms Deep anticipates a $8,000,000.00 investment to purchase and transfer advanced manufacturing machinery and equipment. The actual qualifying Local Investment Grant to be provided will be determined by the actual value of the net new taxable investment as determined by the Gaston County Tax Assessor. The McAdenville Town Council shall hold a public hearing on the proposed incentive agreements at 6:00 PM in the Town Council chambers, 163 Main Street, McAdenville, NC 28101 on Tuesday, March 10th, 2026 at which time any person may be heard regarding the project. The McAdenville Town Council invite all interested persons to attend and present their views.
