NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING A PROPOSED MORATORIUM ON THE CONSTRUCTION AND DEVELOPMENT OF DATA CENTERS UNDER THE CARROLL COUNTY ZONING ORDINANCE A public hearing will be conducted by the Carroll County Area Plan Commission in the Carroll County Court House, 2nd Floor Commissioner's Meeting Room, Delphi, Indiana at 6:00 p.m. on July 28, 2026 when the following matter will be considered: Proposed County Moratorium regarding the development and construction of Data Center facilities in Carroll County, Indiana. This Moratorium will allow the Area Plan Commission additional time to develop ordinance language outlining requirements and restrictions in the location, size and resource usage of Date Centers proposed for construction in Carroll County, Indiana. The proposed Moratorium language is on file for public examination in the Carroll County Area Plan office on the first floor of the Carroll County Courthouse, Delphi, Indiana. All written objections to the proposed Moratorium filed with the Area Plan office at or before the hearing will be considered and oral comments concerning the proposal will be heard.
