NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing pursuant to Article 18-A of the New York General Municipal Law will be held by the Steuben County Industrial Development Agency (the "Agency") on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at 3:00 p.m., local time, at Bath Village Hall (Board Room), 110 Liberty Street, Bath, New York 14810, in connection with the following matter: WALGREENS, for itself or on behalf of an entity formed or to be formed by it or on its behalf (collectively, the "Company"), has submitted an application (the "Application"), a copy of which is on file with the Agency, requesting the Agency's assistance with respect to a certain project (the "Project"), consisting of: (i) the acquisition by the Agency of a leasehold interest in approximately 1.35 acres of real property located at 321 W. Washington Street, Village of Bath, New York (the "Land", being more particularly identified as tax parcel number 158.12-02-028.100) and the existing improvements located thereon consisting of an approximately 12,000 square foot retail pharmacy facility (the "Existing Improvements"; and, together with the Land, the "Facility"); and (ii) the maintaining of the Existing Improvements. The Agency will acquire a leasehold interest in the Facility and lease the Facility back to the Company. The Company will operate the Facility during the term of the lease. At the end of the lease term, the leasehold interest will be terminated. The Agency contemplates that it will provide financial assistance to the Company in the form of a partial real property tax abatement structured within a payment-in-lieu-of-tax agreement by and between the Agency and the Company (the "Financial Assistance"). The Agency also encourages all interested parties to submit written comments to the Agency, which will be included within the public hearing records.
