NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING STATE OF INDIANA ) ) SS: COUNTY OF DELAWARE ) BEFORE THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS DELAWARE COUNTY, INDIANA IN RE: PETITION FOR VACATION OF BRIDGE #507, EAST WAID STREET WEST OF MARKET STREET, CITY OF MUNCIE, INDIANA NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING On November 17, 2025 the Board of Commissioners of Delaware County, Indiana, will hold a public hearing on the matter of a petition to vacate bridge 507 on East Waid Street as filed by the Board of Commissioners requesting to vacate Bridge #507 on East Waid Street, City of Muncie, Delaware County, Indiana more particularly described as follows: 1. Petitioner is the owner of Bridge #507 that spans the Hamilton Ditch located in the City of Muncie, Center Township in the approximate area of the 1000 block of East Waid Ave. and west of Market Street, City of Muncie, Indiana, 2. The bridge is situated on a former street that is not used by traffic and there is no use for the bridge now. 3. Petitioner desires to vacate, as a public bridge (undeveloped and no longer used) located on former Waid Street between Lot 1 and Lot 7. The public hearing will take place at 9:00 AM. on the 17th day of November, 2025 in the Commissioners Courtroom, Delaware County Building, 3rd Floor, 100 West Main Street, Muncie, Indiana. Interested persons may appear and voice their opinions. Copies of the petition to vacate may be examined at the Delaware County Auditor's Office, Delaware County Building, Room 103, 100 West Main Street, Muncie, Indiana, during normal office hours.
