NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HERBY GIVEN A regular meeting of the Stockton City Council will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 5:30 pm, in the Council Chambers, 2nd Floor, City Hall, 425 N El Dorado St, Stockton, CA, to consider public comments/testimony regarding amendments to the Fiscal Year 2025-26 Fee Schedule necessary to implement and enforce street and sidewalk vendor regulations adopted through Ordinance 2025-12-16-1212. This action supports compliance with State law, allows for recovery of licensing and enforcement costs, and addresses public safety, sanitation, traffic, and public property impacts associated with street and sidewalk vending. Proceedings before the City Council are conducted in English. The City does not furnish interpreters and if one is needed, it shall be the responsibility of the person needing one. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and California Law, it is the policy of the City to offer its public programs, services and meetings in a manner that is readily accessible to everyone, including those with disabilities. If you are disabled and require a copy of the public hearing notice; or an agenda and/or agenda packet in an appropriate alternative format; or if you require other accommodation, please contact the City Clerk, City Hall, 1st Floor, 425 N El Dorado St, Stockton, CA during normal business hours or by calling (209) 937-8458 at least five (5) days in advance of the hearing/meeting. Advance notification within this guideline will enable the City/Agency to make reasonable arrangements to ensure accessibility. Anyone wishing to be heard on this issue may appear before the City Council at the time of the Public Hearing and/or file a written opinion with the City Clerk. It deserves to be noted that the legal requirement of public notice does not guarantee notice to all persons residing in the City. If you challenge the proposed action in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the Public Hearing described in this Notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City Council at, or prior to, the Public Hearing.
